What does your company do?

We are an interior design and creative gifting company that specializes in front end as well as back end design solutions. At our core, we do corporate, hospitality, residential as well as retail interior design. Additionally, we have recently introduced personal and corporate creative gifting to our portfolio. Starting out as an interior content creation brand in 2015, we have since evolved and are now a registered design company. At the fundamental of our business, we like to bring ideas that embody the vision of our clients to life. We do this by ensuring that all the elements and details of the creative and design process are efficiently carried out to the best of our abilities.

What is your biggest success?

Our biggest successes have come from some of the early investments we have made into the business. We had to implement a client acquisition strategy that has over the years helped us secure some of our biggest clients. We invested in less profitable business deals in the early stages which have now helped us create a good reputation and get major clients through referrals from existing customers. One of our notable successes during the Covid 19 pandemic was diversifying our business portfolio. The lack of economic activity due to the multiple lockdowns had a devastating effect on our business and our clients. We had to rethink our strategies and decided to introduce creative gifting as a subsidiary. This evolved tremendously and through that we had the pleasure of working on our first community project that was backed by a CSI/sponsor where our work included planning/sourcing for a community outreach initiative.

What has been your biggest hurdle?

Our biggest challenge has been expanding our team/establishing a more permanent staff and moving the business to the next level and a lack of resources to do so has been one of our biggest constraints. Being young, female and black can sometimes create a lack of confidence from potential clients, industry peers as well as investors with regards to your capabilities and influence which has concurrently caused difficulties with increasing our reach and expanding our vision for the company.
