What does your company do?
We are a local holistic commercial cleaning company; we provide a wide range of cleaning services using eco-friendly products. Our journey began with a vision to revolutionise the cleaning industry and today, we stand as a symbol of reliability and innovation. What is your biggest success?
My biggest success to date was obtaining the Business Management Certificate and grant from NYDA in 2024. I have obtained cleaning equipment, stock and networking in order to scale the business and expand.
I have an extensive background in sales and customer service and I am very passionate about serving people with generosity, empathy and integrity.
One of my successes was the creation of employment for young professionals and women from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Starting a mini book drive to collect books for kids in the informal settlements and doing environmental education through awareness to the schools in the township.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Transitioning from residential cleaning to commercial cleaning, obtaining long term clients.
The overall industry has very little information available to non-when it comes to the cleaning industry, very few people have content on the internet for South Africa most books under the cleaning industry are written in dollars for pricing which makes it difficult to relate with the overall content.
Pricing has been one of my biggest challenge, people struggle to understand why they should spend money on cleaning company whereas there's someone willing to do the cheap labour.
Majority of the people generally look down on the business and I was told by many business owners from other industries that I am not going to make it in cleaning, the stereotypes are there but I have acquired impeccable knowledge and skills to press on.
