What does your company do?

We are an interior design studio that is deeply rooted in the art of mindful design. The Sourcing Lab was birthed out of a deep commitment to the spirit of collaboration to facilitate a design journey that embraces creativity and inspires craftsmanship and simplifies the methods we use to create spaces.

What is your biggest success?

Finishing my first full home. Alone and with minimal snags. I love what I do,but running a business while doing it, is a hard I was never quite prepared for. I always say I never chose entrepreneurship but it chose me. And with every costly mistake, and administrative saga, it's teaches me more about myself than any other title I hold in my life. It teaches me patience and resilience. I will be successful, because I'm consistent.

What has been your biggest hurdle?

Funding. While funding is not the sole factor in the success of any business, it plays a crucial role in enabling growth, innovation, and competitiveness within the industry. For instance: Marketing and exposure: Insufficient funds have hindered marketing efforts, limiting the business's visibility and outreach to potential clients. This has resulted in a slower growth for the business. Innovation and creativity: Without proper funding, it has been challenging to invest in research, development, and experimentation with new ideas and concepts, potentially leading to a lack of innovation and creativity in specific concepts.
