What does your company do?
We are a Bed and Breakfast. Our products and services include accommodation, events management, catering and conferencing.
What is your biggest success?
Being able to provide services to target groups throughout Covid-19 and still surviving. I took a full-time job during Covid-19 for a period of 17 months, to ensure that no employee is retrenched. I utilized my income to sustain the monthly operational costs of the business. We survived Covid-19 and is well on our way to recovery.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Covid-19 almost killed the business due to the fact that people were not allowed to travel. We thus had little to no business. Monthly financial commitments suffered a lot to such an extend that I almost lost everything.
