What does your company do?
I am cultivating moringa trees on a 1-hectare plot of land. After harvesting, I dry the leaves and process them into moringa powder, moringa bath soap, and moringa oil.
What is your biggest success?
Our greatest success came when our local clinic began supporting our products by referring elderly individuals to purchase moringa powder. They also directed mothers with malnourished babies to us, and we were able to provide much-needed assistance to them.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Our biggest hurdle has been raising awareness and educating the community about the benefits of moringa products. Many people were unfamiliar with its advantages but we managed to educate them now every one is familiar with moringa.
Our ongoing struggle is maintaining a reliable water supply. We still have to collect water with buckets from the dam to irrigate our trees.
