MK Oziel Sportswear is a South African sportswear and apparel company that specializes in the design, development, manufacturing, and worldwide marketing and sales of footwear, apparel, equipment, accessories, and services. MK Oziel Sportswear promotes a healthy lifestyle by not only making ready-to-wear high-quality active, casual, and gym wear but also hosting wellness camps that help individuals be more knowledgeable and cognitive of their financial health, mental health, physical health, hygiene, and nutrition. MK Oziel Sportswear is an inclusive brand that is suitable for all genders, ages, body types, and sizes. MK Oziel Sportswear is not just a sportswear apparel brand, it’s a lifestyle brand!

What is your biggest success?

We have achieved remarkable success in a fiercely competitive industry. Despite not receiving external funding, we have been in business for 3 years and have become the preferred supplier for a soccer team in the Motsepe Foundation League. This partnership has allowed us to design and make their away and home soccer kit, traveling kit for the management team, and their fan t-shirts, showcasing our growth and credibility in the market. From operating out of a single room in our house, we have grown into a recognized brand that embodies quality, style, and inclusivity. Our ability to secure such a significant partnership demonstrates the trust and reputation we have built within the industry. By providing high-quality sportswear and catering to the specific needs of the team and their fans, we have positioned ourselves as a reliable and sought-after brand. Furthermore, our recent qualification to open a showroom at the unique entrepreneur campus signifies our commitment to growth, innovation, and fostering a supportive community. Through our dedication, perseverance, and passion, MK Oziel Sportwear has not only achieved business success but also made a meaningful impact in the community.

What has been your biggest hurdle?

Our biggest huddle is the lack of financial assistance. we have been funding the business from our pocket, which has caused financial challenges for my family. unfortunately, this limitation has restricted our ability to invest in marketing and advertising, as well as produce more of our designed products. it has also made it difficult to implement the structure and systems needed for growth. Hiring the right skills and operating the business efficiently requires financial resources. This hurdle is especially significant because our business has the potential to contribute to reducing the unemployment rate. therefore, I believe that lack of financial assistance is the biggest obstacle we face in achieving our goals.
