Initially starting with the sale of Mk Oziel water to encourage wellness, we expanded our offerings during the COVID-19 pandemic, inspired by the need for stylish and high-quality gym wear that reduces the need for repetitive purchases.
Today, we offer a diverse range of activewear, including gym clothes, gloves, accessories, jackets, shorts, and tracksuits, all designed to empower our customers to embrace healthier lifestyles. Our products are crafted with care, reflecting our dedication to quality and functionality, because we believe that looking good contributes to feeling good.

At Mk Oziel Sportswear, our most tremendous success lies in our remarkable journey of transformation and community impact. We started as a small business selling from one room in our house and have grown into a thriving activewear shop with our first physical store in a unique shopping center in Centurion.
Being a trusted strategic partner in providing the MUNACA soccer team with their home and away kits, technical team travel kits, and fan caps and tops in the ABC Motsepe League exemplifies our commitment to promoting healthy living and resilience. It is not just about them looking good and feeling special while wearing our products like professionals; it also fosters a positive spirit and boosts their confidence, allowing them to unleash their best skills. We believe they will draw encouragement from the essence of Mk Oziel, inspiring them to turn their pain into purpose through sports and our high-quality activewear.

What has been your biggest hurdle?
Over the past four years, Mk Oziel Sportswear has faced a significant hurdle in achieving profitability. As a legacy project funded primarily by family resources, this journey has presented substantial financial challenges, especially as a mother balancing the needs of my family while investing in our business. The reliance on personal funds has limited our marketing budget, making it difficult to reach a broader audience despite having a loyal customer base that affirms the quality and marketability of our products.
While we take pride in the positive impact we have on our customers' lives and our commitment to promoting healthier lifestyles through initiatives like wellness camps, financial constraints have hindered our ability to host these events as frequently as we would like. We believe these camps could create significant change in our community, but without external assistance, it's challenging to scale our efforts.
Additionally, securing funding from banks has proven difficult due to our low revenue. The investments we have made so far have strengthened our company's systems, policies, and staffing, allowing us to build a competent team. However, we continue to operate out of our home as a warehouse, which limits our growth potential.
Our vision is to expand into a larger warehouse, which would enable us to create more jobs and further develop our business. This growth is essential not only for our sustainability but also for continuing to make a positive impact in our community. We believe that with the right support, we can overcome these hurdles and turn our vision into reality, ultimately benefiting both our business and the communities we serve.
