We are a clothing manufacturer of African Print fashion, producing in high volumes to supply to our 8 stores and also selling on an online platform.
We also do couture clothing as per request to cater for different types of events from black tie events to weddings and awards ceremonies etc.
What is your biggest success?
1. When we started we were renting a small factory then 8 years later we were able to purchase our own factory.
2. Furthermore we successfully opened 8 fully operational stores around the country.
3. Lufi D was chosen by South African Airways to make uniform for its stuff.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Our biggest hurdle was not being able to manage our production levels due to not having our own factory over the years and all has changed after we moved into our own building.
Secondly, not having proper systems (e.g.: POS system) or specialised factory inventory system in place that also runs the entire factory production vs Profits so we can have a clear view of our precise margins and projections for future plans in place.
