We are a business that seeks to empower young women in standing up for themselves and taking up space in the society. Most women are eager to make it in life however due to our countries economy, it is very difficult for a woman to be a leader without being victimised. So Queen Movements stand in the gap as a bridge to ensure that the dreams of women are achieved be it in school by studying or being self employed and creative new opportunities for their families and their communities. This will in return helps with unemployment that we have as a country and fights poverty in our communities. Most people are having visions for their lives however they fail to achieve them due to lack of knowledge and facilities. Queen Movements will not only stands with women only but also with people who wishes to make a change in the society. Our communities are full of people who are going through so much and Queen Movements is needed to keep up faith in their lives and empower them.
What is your biggest success?
My biggest success is being able to change young people lives in my current workplace. I have 5 young people who report direct to meand I am fully responsible for them. I have taught them that the workplace doesn't have to be toxic as people describe it but have to grow them and they have to be responsible and accountable for whatever work they are given. I have created a healthy working place for them and they deliver good results at all times.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
My biggest hurdle has been working with someone who doesn't take responsibility but pushes all work to one person just because they think they can. It has been one pain that I still can not adjust to and fell like responsibilities should be shared amongst people and fairly so to make sure that productivity takes places.
