Glamping Adventures
What does your company do?
We organise mobile glamping experiences in South Africa and the region. We have group set departure dates for these and also have flexible independent travelers. We own all the canvass tents, furniture and all equipment. We pitch these tents at various iconic destinations across the country. Our packages are fully inclusive of a furnished tent , all meals and activities. We employ communities near the tourism sites we visit. We encourage our guests to accompany us to plant trees in the communities as a way of giving back and encouraging responsible tourism. We are passionate about conservation and as such have a program called The Conservation Frontier where we train communities that lie within tourism assets about the importance of conservation through film and story telling.
What is your biggest success?
Building a brand during Covid-19 in an industry that was one of the hardest hit, Tourism. Building social and industry trust. Surviving Covid-19 and creating jobs. Devising diversification strategies in order to stay afloat. We are still in business, that's a major achievement.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Covid-19 had an effect on our cash flow. Solid Sales strategy formulation and building institional relationships. Technology and burn out due to lack of resources (human and costs associated with digitalisation)
We remain resolute and ready to claim our position as the Glamping authority in Africa.
