Winning the first Mpumalanga Green Cluster pitching competition and getting recognition from Anglo American. It shows that Green entrepreneurs are ready to collaborate with corporate for a sustainable future. As a woman born and bred in a mining town, this was a big win
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Access to funding. Aquaponics is a fairly new solution and most people need education on how aquaponics works. This limits my funding options a lot because people sometimes can't support what they don't understand
