What does your company do?
We have a learn to swim indoor heated facility.
What is your biggest success?
I opened up my dream swim school after working for other people for so many years with my husbands help. Looking at what my strengths are and my weaknesses I believe I have built an amazing environment where my staff and all people who come to learn to swim are happy and love to come to streamline.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
I’m not a risk taker so I knew opening my first business I had thought of my obstacles. I managed to get my numbers to be enough to be profitable after one month. But then 2 months later was forced to shut down due to Covid. I never foresaw something like this in my lifetime. And that a pandemic would overtake the need for children to learn to swim. But we overcame and are stronger because of not giving up.
