What does your company do?
Qhakaza Beauty is a make up services company. We offer make up services for graduations, photoshoots, birthday celebrations and film make up.
What is your biggest success?
My biggest was in March 2024 when we serviced over 30 clients for the UCT graduation which spanned over a week. That was the most taxing yet exciting period. We got to be part of people's special days and got tested on our ability to work under pressure and keep to a schedule since the bookings were back to back.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Pricing our services. Since our main clients are students, we had to find a way to strike the balance between running a profitable business, charging our skils' worth while still appealing to our target market
