I run a beauty salon that focuses on body removal and intimate and corrective skincare with an emphasis on treating women of colour.
What is your biggest success?
I would attribute my success to my ability to connect and build relationships with women. I have a desire to transform lives by transforming the skin from inside out and by pro actively educating my clients. All my clients who find me on social media have commented on the fact that I provide educational information and yhe client experience I offer sets me apart from other businesses who offer similar services. What I do is not only transformative but also intentional, educational and a true calling that touches the lives of the people I meet.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
My biggest gurgle I think has been the lack of education available on social media and the emergence of scammy social media influences posing as beauty specialists. It's been a challenge to show up in an authentic way in a space that wants gimmicks.
