We are a school uniform retailer operating a retail store in Tembisa servicing ten local schools. We also provide other types of uniforms for other industries; we partner with companies and individuals to supply uniforms to disadvantaged learners in our network of schools and we also run our own school jersey drive initiative that also provides school jerseys to learners in need in Tembisa.
What is your biggest success?
Our business has impacted the lives of over 600 learners through the various school uniform initatives that we have been a part of since we started operating, and that for me is our biggest success as our business is making a difference in the lives of our future leaders. We are also the proud recipients of the Bambelela Business Awards Gauteng Cohort Top 20 for 2023, and we also won 3rd place in the Standard Bank and ThinkRoom ED Programme for 2024.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Relying solely on third party suppliers for our manufacturing function. This has restricted us in terms of the clients we can service but also compromises our margins and the ability to manage/control the quality and timing of our items.
