We want to create an environment where women can grow and develop.
We strive to be a 100% women-run business. Every pillar within the Kri8tive brand is run by a woman. More than that we strive to empower every woman, giving them the opportunity to not only run a pillar but lead it. Grow and develop it through coaching and guidance. We spend time with each woman to establish their goals and dreams and help them achieve these within or outside of the business.
What is your biggest success?
The Kri8tive brand is completely self-funded and hopes to be very diverse and incorporate a number of industries. We want to show that with enough knowledge of the industry, great people and good business acumen any business can strive.
We plan that every Kri8tive Team member in time will be able to run a chosen part of the brand. At the moment we have already identified team members that we are training in management, brand growth, franchising and business development.
Our first store in Pretoria is growing and flourishing, within only 4 months of operating we are already meeting financial targets and exceeding them.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
It's often very hard to find people/employees/mentors that share the same vision as you. We've always wanted to run the business, where everyone has an equal say and contribution to how the business can run and grow and it has been challenging to find individuals that fit into that culture.
