What does your company do?
Masego Wellness Counseling is a Family wellness center. Our main vision is to see each family member in the family emotionally stable. We do personalized counseling programs suitable to cadres needs at that time. We do individual counseling for mummy and daddy and children. We also do joint counseling for couples and families. Our main priority is seeing mentally healthy families in our society.
What is your biggest success?
My biggest success is seeing teenagers regaining their confidence back after our programmes. Seeing them not giving up anymore and not feeling suicidal anymore.
Yet again saving marriages and seeing couples happy again is so appealing and encourages us to keep on doing the amazing work that we do.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Our biggest hurdle has been setting up our new department of Edutainment. We would like to make mental health fashionable and people to stop running away from their childhood traumas and seek for help. So we would like to start educating people about the importance of taking care of your mental health. The challenge that we have a sourcing out funding to set up these events. We continue to send out proposals and believe that one day a door will open
