Foodies Speck is a baking business which specialise in personalised cakes for every occasion,personalised cupcakes,scones,jam tarts,muffins and desserts.
What is your biggest success?
My biggest success was launching this business and being able to continue operating up to this date 2 years and a few months later.Being able to get a number of customers and being able to hire 2 part time women employees.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
One of the major challenges we had when we started operating was undercharging our products hoping that we will have many customers and generate money fast and of course we made a lot of customers but we were losing money.Our cost of sale were a lot higher than what we were actually making.The main thing that was killing our business is that we were using competitive prices instead of doing calculations and come up with our prices.
