What does your company do?
We sell branded merchandise. A combination of lounge wear and street, everyday easy to style and accessorize clothing items such as T-shirt, caps, hats , scarves, sweaters, hoodies, sweat pants branded with out cool brand name DO YOU!
What is your biggest success?
My biggest success would be creating a DO YOU community that is brand loyal and converting the brand into a movement! I believe I achieved this through investing in quality products/ materials which results in repeat purchase and word of mouth. The brand tagline is fit for the fearless and authentic. It encourages people to live up to their true authentic brands.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
In the first few yeas my biggest challenge was sourcing reliable suppliers to work with. I do not compromise on quality therefore service delivery was challenged and I had to delay my execution plan. But I what I learnt through that process was to not give up and most importantly to communicate with my customers. Covid also played a role as we used to do a lot of market displays, suppliers closed down businesses and moved to PPE, deliveries were also a challenge which set us back.
