What does your company do?
Lin-Glazed Beauty is a beauty and wellness company that offers a range of professional beauty treatments, including skincare, nails, massages, and body care. Our focus is not only on helping clients look their best, but also feel their best—promoting self-confidence and well-being through personalized, high-quality services.
In addition to our in-salon treatments, we also provide informal training and mentorship for aspiring beauty spa owners, and we’re expanding into corporate wellness by offering wellness days at various companies to promote self-care in the workplace. Our mission is to empower, uplift, and create a positive impact through beauty and wellness.
What is your biggest success?
My biggest success has been building Lin-Glazed Beauty from a personal dream into a growing and trusted brand that empowers others. What started as a response to my own struggles with body image has become a space where clients feel beautiful and valued, and aspiring entrepreneurs find mentorship and support. One of my proudest moments was successfully hosting our first corporate wellness day—it marked a new chapter for the business and showed the real impact of self-care in different spaces. Despite challenges, I’ve remained committed to growth, authenticity, and purpose—and seeing the lives touched by this journey has been my greatest reward.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
My biggest hurdle has been navigating the early stages of the business without the right guidance. I faced challenges such as hiring untrustworthy employees, which affected both the quality of service and client trust. Another major difficulty was figuring out the correct registration processes with professional bodies like SAAHSP—it was overwhelming and time-consuming without proper support. These experiences tested my resilience and pushed me to seek help. Thankfully, connecting with a mentor changed everything. With their guidance, I was able to stabilize the business, rebuild a strong team, and structure operations more professionally. It was a tough period, but it taught me the importance of patience, leadership, and learning from every setback.
