What does your company do?
#againstperiodpoverty we visit schools in and around Cape Town and the Western Cape educating the learners on Menstrual Health, creating awareness, restoring dignity. We also adopt the schools we visit , which means we go back regularly ,we also distribute sanitary towels to all our schools.
What is your biggest success?
#againstperiodpoverty is a self- funded registered NPO with PBO. Our greatest is being able to reach schools not just in Cape Town but Western Cape . 70 schools and growing Being able to not just visit these schools to educate on Menstrual Hygiene ,but do sanitary towel distributions regularly. We adopt the school to support them with sanitary towels.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Our biggest hurdle is finances.
