What does your company do?
#againstperiodpoverty provide Menstrual Hygiene talks and the distribution of sanitary pads at schools, youth centers across Cape Town and Western Cape.
What is your biggest success?
#againstperiodpoverty we have just received our very first sanitary pad vending machine, which was self funded and will be installed in one of the schools. # provides the maintenance, supply the sanitary pads and tokens which will be used.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
The biggest hurdle is funding. Because we are self funded and rely on events and personal sponsorship it takes awhile to get these much needed sanitary pad vending machines and roll out more.
