Our primary obstacle revolves around the inability to secure a permanent operating space, as we are presently reliant on renting. This situation hampers our ability to provide consistent care. Additionally, the patients in Burgersfort and surrounding town areas often have lower levels of health literacy, impacting their comprehension and adherence to medical advice. Moreover, we encounter difficulties in accessing funding from both governmental and non-governmental sources. Furthermore, due to our rural location, attracting and retaining qualified healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and specialists, is a constant struggle. As a result, all the medical specialists we have on board often travel long distances to reach the clinic.
