What does your company do?

Ladies in Business Network is a Christ centered network , established in 2016. The network connects passionate female entrepreneurs & visionary leaders in business, who decided to reach out, to empower, impart, impact & inspire each other to greatness. The Network affords ladies in business a platform to network openly, share business ideas, opportunities, information and experiences. We also hope to establish and facilitate trade opportunities for female businesses by creating business platforms.

What is your biggest success?

My greatest achievement as the founder of Ladies in Business Network (LBN) has been building a thriving community of over 2,000 women. We have empowered our members with essential skills and profitable market opportunities, enabling them to secure spaces in three shopping centers. Additionally, we were appointed to launch the traffic department in our community and assisted major brands like Burger King and KitKat in promoting their stores. Beyond business, we continue to uplift women and children by providing digital skills, entrepreneurship training, sewing, baking, and business development skills. This comprehensive support network has profoundly impacted countless lives, fostering a culture of growth and empowerment.

What has been your biggest hurdle?

Our biggest hurdle has been overcoming financial constraints, securing adequate space, and navigating corruption. Funding challenges have often limited our ability to expand our programs and reach more women in need. Additionally, finding and maintaining sufficient space for our growing community and events has been a constant struggle. Corruption has posed significant obstacles, from bureaucratic delays to unfair practices, hindering our efforts to provide opportunities and support to our members. Despite these challenges, we have persevered and continued to empower women through creative solutions and unwavering determination, ensuring that our mission to uplift and support women remains strong.
