What does your company do?
Bubbly Laundry and Dry-Cleaning Services specializes in laundry services including washing, Drying, Folding and Ironing. It also offers Dry Cleaning, Tailoring and Sneaker Washing services. Housecall cleaning and industrial Cleaning are also additional services provided.Business was established to counter the poverty in our communities by providing employment in order to create income and provide sustainability to our communities. It is still in it's growth stages and promises to grow in leaps and bounds through its dedication to providing excellent services which are greatly needed in our hectic and busy lives.
What is your biggest success?
The biggest success for the business has been to survive for over 2 years despite all the financial and resource constraints and challenges. It survived with only one commercial washer and one commercial dryer for the most part of its life and continues to grow slowly but steadily from strength to strength. This success is due to the committed and loyal staff members who are resilient and determined to see the business succeed for the benefit of everyone that is connected and related to the business internally and externally. I have also qualified as a Mrs. South Africa Beauty pageant Semi Finalist 2024 and this has started opening up great opportunities for the business as well.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
The biggest hurdle for the business has been a financial one and penetrating the market to acquire new business especially from other companies and businesses. There is great reliance on walk in clients and with the challenges in the economy the buying power for our services is low. Therefore, it is a challenge to meet our monthly overheads particularly of the rental and salaries. We have had to recently relocate the business for a lesser rental and penetrating and attracting new clients in a new market has also come with its own challenges. We continue our search for new business and growth through networking opportunities and social media platforms.
