What does your company do?
We are a laundromat business that specialises in Clothes, shoe washes, blankets and curtains. We give a personal touch to all our client's belongings and keep a digitalised order process, for a fast and efficient delivery service.
What is your biggest success?
Oud biggest success is how we managed to integrate ourselves into the economy with he little that we started with. In a very short period, we managed to accumulate clientele in our area, as well as grow our brand enough to be recognised by big corporates in South Africa. As the founder of the business, I have also put alot of investment and time into self development in terms of education and programmes that can benefit myself and the company as a whole. We have bagged awards and other accolades that have given us an upper hand in the eye of the consumer.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Our biggest hurdle has been access to water and electricity. Our area that we operate in has a major water problem that has caused for a shift in our production time. This has cause for a decline our returning clients. Consumers do not have the patience to deal with it. Though we have found ways to bridge the gap, it's been a struggle to get our clients back. We continue to put ourselves out there though - to attract potential clients, but we are not oblivious to the fact that word of mouth was one of our greatest marketing tools.
