Gentishe Menstrual Cup Pty Ltd
What does your company do?
Manufacture 100% plant-based sanitary towels from agri-waste, in particular banana stems. The stems are processed into fibres and pulp that's further processed into sanitary pads. Used sanitary pads degrade within 35 days of disposal & if buried in soil, they become compost therefore positively impacting on the environment and adding value to agricultural value chain.
What is your biggest success?

What has been your biggest hurdle?
Securing an Equity Investment Partnership to establish own manufacturing plant to produce GentiShe Biodegradable Sanitary Pads.
The manufacturing activities were outsourced since 2019 until 30 April 2024. This meant we could not seek more opportunities whilst we do not have capacity.
