projects being Digital X-Ray Glasses developed by Masego & Matlhogonolo
Mphahlele which will take the world by storm and guarantee South Africa a seat in the elite table of countries known for groundbreaking innovation.
What is your biggest success?
Our biggest success was winning the Redbull Basement 2022 competition in South Africa with our ground breaking innovation which is Digital x-ray glasses against 143 applicants and going to Turkey Istanbul to represent South Africa and coming out in the top 3. Also winning the Women in Tech Africa Award and Global 2023 in Dubai. We also won the Mail and guardian 200 young South Africans. And we were onboarded by Brand SA as Play Your Part Ambassadors.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Our biggest hurdle was lack of resources, particularly acquiring the funds to purchase the materials that we need to work on the final product.
