What does your company do?
Women and Girls Changemakers South Africa is a non-profit organization focused on empowering women and girls to lead and contribute to healthier societies and a thriving economy. Our mission involves building capacity through accredited learning programmes, workshops, and networking with government departments, private businesses, and other non-profits. Our activities are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and South Africa's National Development Plan.
Women and Girls Changemakers SA organization aims to change the narrative and balance the power by providing skills development opportunities and tools to help women and girls lead, find meaningful employment, and support women-led businesses. We envision communities where men and women participate equally, addressing social and economic issues.
What is your biggest success?
Our greatest achievement is the successful implementation and impact of our programmes.
We bought together a diverse range of stakeholders, including government officials, private sector leaders, non-profit organizations, and civil society, to collaborate on solutions for gender disparities.
Our mentoring and coaching programmes, entrepreneurial development courses, and back-to-school support for children in government schools. These programmes have directly improved the lives of women and girls, providing them with the skills, resources, and support needed to thrive.
Networking with our allies and partners who are committed to continuing the commitment for gender equality. This network includes influential figures from various sectors who support and amplify our mission.
