What is your biggest success?

My biggest success was hosting YUI's first skills training program during October and November 2023, having onsite and online participation. The training covered Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and PowerBi), CV write-up, creating LinkedIn profiles, business and workplace readiness mentorship. 15 Students in total were trained and received the Certificate of Competence.

What has been your biggest hurdle?

My biggest hurdle is striking the right balance between what unemployed young people can afford and ensuring the company makes enough profit to expand. This makes pricing for our training program a challenge as our target is people who do not earn an income. As a result, we are currently using a strategy of pricing fairly low and target large groups. This allows us to make the desired profit per training program while ensuring our services are accessible to the majority of unemployed youth.
