What does your company do?

Lashlife/Zoe Beauty is a revolutionary, proudly South African beauty brand that created South Africa's first "do-it-yourself" at-home eyelash extension system for sensitive eyes. I have recently launched a new product line called InstaGel, which offers long-wearing, UV gel-coated press-on nails. Our products provide semi-permanent beauty enhancements that give you salon-looking results without damage, all in the comfort of your own home at a fraction of the cost. The company was started from the spare bedroom of my home in 2021, and since then, we have won a Glamour magazine Beauty award, been selected as one of Glamour's top 100 South African beauty brands, and are ready to launch our products in Clicks retail stores across SA.

What is your biggest success?

1) Winning Glamour magazines product of the year in the eyelash category in 2023 2) Signing a retail partnership with Clicks Group 3) Being approached by the Sorbet group for a retail partnership. Currently being negotiated

What has been your biggest hurdle?

My biggest hurdle was creating a structure to take Zoe Beauty from a small business to the beauty empire of my dreams.
