My company is a product development and manufacturing company that specialises in the production of organic hair care products.

What is your biggest success?

My biggest success has been transforming a humble start-up into a thriving business with a significant impact. I launched my product development and manufacturing business with just R1500 and a single product. Today, I manufacture 11 organic hair care products, all tested and approved by the SABS, and set for an exciting launch later this year. My journey includes graduating from prestigious entrepreneurship programs like the Academy of Women Entrepreneurs, Google Hustle Academy, and WomX. I was also honored as a grantee by the United States African Development Foundation, becoming an Alumni. These experiences have equipped me with essential business skills. Additionally, I've created job opportunities for young females and empowered women nationwide through our Sales Rep programme. My success is not just measured by business growth but also by the positive impact on the community, proving that with determination and the right support, anything is possible.

What has been your biggest hurdle?

My biggest hurdle as an entrepreneur has been navigating the dual challenges of building a business and living with a visual impairment. Starting and growing a business demands clarity of vision, both literally and figuratively. With my visual impairment, I faced unique obstacles in accessing resources, technology, and networking opportunities. However, these challenges have driven my innovation and resilience. I’ve learned to leverage technology in creative ways and build a robust support network. My impairment has taught me to approach problems from unique angles, fostering a culture of inclusivity and adaptability within my business. This journey has strengthened my entrepreneurial skills and made me a more empathetic leader. I believe that the greatest successes come from turning obstacles into opportunities. My story is a testament to the power of perseverance and the boundless potential of the human spirit, regardless of the hurdles we face.
