What does your company do?

Combating the stigma and discrimination suffered by our community known for malicious behaviors by using the power of Art & education majoring in modeling & performing arts. We conceptualize and execute annual events that will always empower upcoming artists and models to be the best versions of themselves without feeling mortified. We believe in building future ambassadors who will win both academically and in their chosen careers. We have undertaken various projects that will allow for different activities that can benefit every individual. We want to connect ourselves with educational institutions platforms to help the brand grow. In the next 5years, we see ourselves branching out to other townships as well to extend our services to undeveloped communities. We want to empower young people to appreciate and acknowledge themselves by showing confidence, and intelligence, and grooming them to be the best role models they can be. We want to encourage education and promote healthy minds. This promises to eliminate the number of kids losing self-esteem, and being involved in unhealthy behaviors such as crime, drugs, and teenage pregnancy.

What is your biggest success?

Youth Engagement- Through our diverse programs, we have successfully reached over 300 children within our community. Whether it's through educational initiatives, recreational activities, or mentorship programs, we strive to provide a supportive environment where young individuals can thrive and realize their potential. Annual Empowerment Events- Our annual empowerment events have been instrumental in reaching a broader audience and spreading awareness about crucial issues affecting our youth. In 2018 alone, we engaged with approximately 600 individuals, fostering a sense of community and empowerment among attendees. Mentorship Program- Our mentorship program boasts an enrollment of 70 children, providing them with guidance, support, and valuable life skills. By offering mentorship opportunities, we aim to keep these children off the streets and steer them towards productive and fulfilling paths. Recognition and Awards- Lesedi Awards Nomination: We are honored to have been nominated for the prestigious Lesedi Awards by Momentum, a testament to the impactful work we do within our community. This nomination reflects our dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people and acknowledges the effectiveness of our programs. Behavioral Change: One of the most significant indicators of our success lies in the positive behavioral changes witnessed among program participants. Through our initiatives, we have observed transformations in attitudes, behaviors, and outlooks, signifying the profound impact of our work on the lives of individuals. What has been your biggest hurdle?

Our organization has encountered significant hurdles in fully realizing the potential of our projects due to insufficient funds and a lack of robust community support and resources. Despite these challenges, we have remained resilient, persevering in our mission to make a difference. However, to truly flourish and maximize our impact, it's imperative that we address these obstacles head-on. Insufficient Funding: Lack of financial resources has hampered our ability to execute projects effectively. Limited budget constraints creativity and innovation. Dependency on limited funding sources poses a risk to sustainability. Inadequate Community Support: Difficulty in mobilizing community engagement and participation. Limited outreach and awareness about our initiatives. Lack of collaboration and partnership opportunities within the community. Building a Dedicated Team: Recruiting individuals who are genuinely passionate about our cause. Ensuring team members remain motivated and committed despite challenges. Fostering a culture of collaboration and shared vision within the team. Diversifying Funding Streams: Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and partners who share our values and vision. Explore alternative funding sources such as grants, crowdfunding, and corporate sponsorships. Develop a comprehensive fundraising strategy that includes both short-term and long-term goals.
