One of DISA’s biggest successes has been creating sustainable employment opportunities for women and youth from underserved communities, many of whom had limited access to formal work or training. By providing structured skills development, mentorship, and a nurturing environment, DISA has helped individuals grow from entry-level agents into confident professionals. This people-first approach has not only transformed lives, but also delivered high-quality service to clients, proving that social impact and business excellence can go hand in hand.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
DISA’s biggest hurdle has been accessing sustainable funding and resources to scale operations while staying true to its mission of empowerment and inclusion. Balancing the costs of training, infrastructure, and employee well-being—especially when prioritizing individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds—has been challenging. Yet, this hurdle has also been a source of innovation, pushing DISA to form strategic partnerships, streamline processes, and continuously advocate for the value of people-centered impact in the BPO industry.
