What does your company do?
We are a fashion design company which focuses on custom designs for ladies of all shapes and sizes. We work according to clients budget, design inspiration and standard. We also offer skills training in the form of Sewing Masterclasses which take place quarterly a year. These classes are there to guide individuals at a beginner level and to learn the necessary skills they need to kickstart their careers in the clothing industry.
What is your biggest success?
My biggest success has been getting the working space, it is small but is an achievement considering where I started. Being able to work with the amazing women that we design for is incredible. I participated in the Durban Fashion fair Class of 2023 where I did a runway show for my collection. I have done a radio interview with Gagasi fm and had an article of me written on a local digital magazine.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
My biggest hurdle is that my space is getting smaller the more the business grows. Another is getting people to work for me, currently I have a trainee who will be leaving in 2 months.
