What does your company do?
My home bakery is a thriving business situated in a rural town of Piketberg.
I provide edible gift boxes for special occasions such as anniversaries,birthdays and Mother's Day.
I also provide the most delicious frozen Pastries as well as baking and confectionery to surrounding towns and provinces in South Africa. I look forward to being on of the biggest supplies of pastries to major retail grocery stores and establishments in the future.
What is your biggest success?
My biggest success is the fact that I can thrive and be successful in these tough economic times. When other Businesses were closing during lockdown,this business was blessed to start up showing its resilience and relevance to the intended target market. The demand for my innovative and creative hand made products speak for themself in an already competitive environment.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Loadshedding and the rising costs of ingredients,I am still able to provide a too quality and affordable product using the best quality ingredients.
