What does your company do?

We are hydroponic farmers and also just started water management services

What is your biggest success?

My greatest success lies in nurturing my hydroponic business, where strategic resource procurement and innovative farming techniques have driven significant growth. Furthermore, empowering other women to launch their own backyard farms and pursue agricultural entrepreneurship has been deeply gratifying. This collective effort towards sustainable agriculture and women's empowerment epitomises my dedication to making a positive impact in the business world and beyond.

What has been your biggest hurdle?

My biggest hurdles have been obtaining GAP certification for retail supply and securing signed-off take agreements with more customers. Achieving GAP certification involved navigating complex regulations and implementing stringent quality control measures. Expanding my customer base proved challenging as I worked to establish trust and secure long-term agreements. Additionally, managing financial constraints and navigating the competitive market landscape posed ongoing obstacles. Despite these challenges, I remained resilient and proactive, seeking innovative solutions and forging strategic partnerships. Overcoming these hurdles has strengthened my business acumen and reaffirmed my commitment to sustainable agriculture and empowering women entrepreneurs in the agribusiness sector.
