Zilon Bulk bags is a woman owned FIBC(flexible intermediary bulk container)also known as woven polypropylene one ton forklift bags.
What is your biggest success?
My biggest success was being recognised as a top performing company at the Global Export Accelerator Program which was held together with the 4 Business chambers being The Pietermaritzburg Midlands Chamber of Business,The Johannesburg chamber of business,The Nelson Mandela Bay chamber and the Cape Town chamber of business. One company from each province was awarded R150000. in cash awarded by The Standard Bank of South Africa. This was such a lovely surprise.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
My biggest hurdle has been trying to secure a premises of my own which I now have done, but I need to put up a 650 square metre building in which I can operate from. I am currently renting 2x 400 square metre buildings and am looking forward to building my own factory.
