What does your company do?
Freebees PR & Marketing provides clients with focused communication to target markets, and sustainable exposure across all traditional, digital and social media platforms.
Our services cover the full spectrum of consumer media engagement, including media launches, securing product placement and sponsorship opportunities, social media content creation and community management, influencer and tailor-made consumer engagement campaigns across all platforms. Our dedicated Social Media Managers provide real-time response and positive customer interactions that are regularly tracked and analysed.
While founded in 2000, I recently took over the company on 1st January 2024 with a fresh new launch to revive and bring the company back to life.
What is your biggest success?
Within the first two weeks of taking over, I signed a client on whose single retainer pays three of our salaries. A huge win from my first ever pitch!!
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Professionally the jump from employee to employer as my previous colleagues now work for me. I went from being the youngest and newest staff member on the team, to being offered the role of the boss. Personally, juggling a work/life balance as I am newly divorced and my 4 year old daughter has autism.
