What does your company do?
We help corporates build and maintain client relationships through locally sourced branded gourmet nuts and dried fruit and South African snacks.
Sustainable wooden and craft boxes are engraved with the clients logo and brand identity. We fuse technology, taste and style into all our gifts.Corporate gifting helps to elevate our clients brands and reach their business objections, whether it is increasing revenue or building client loyalty through proven gifting programs.
What is your biggest success?
We've have just launched the corporate gifting side of the business in September 2023.
We unfortunately incurred losses after closing our retail outlet last year, after trading 2 years during covid between 2021- 2023and the business couldn't sustain itself due to high overheads and slow foot traffic.
At only 6 months into the new venture, we managed to sign a recurring order agreement with one of the largest hotels in the country. We are now hoping to service the complete group of 59 branches.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
To close our retail store last year, I thought that we wouldn't be able to get back up again. But life has a funny way of teaching you lots of lessons and now I have a lean business model, my clients pay upfront for orders and even though it's still a bit slow. I am patiently growing the business stronger through recurring order agreements with corporates.
