What does your company do?
We are in Inclusive ECD centre that caters for both children with challenges or barriers to learning and mainstream.
What is your biggest success?
My greatest achievement is to start this business initiative from home in 2012 and in 2017 had the ability to lease a property from government
The reason for getting a bigger property was as the business grow the needs of the amount of children grew in our area that don't have access to ecd facilities like our own due to challenges to learning or physical challenges..I started off at my home with a few children and in my lounge and currently have 6 classrooms with 2 classes that caters for children with challenges or barriers to learning due to autism ,cerebral palsy ,Down Syndrome.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Our big hurdle is to get fully registered the ecd program as we only conditional due to no building plans by city as we are leading from city. One day we hope to own our own property to expand our classrooms and have facilities like sensory room,Occupational Therapist,speech, and physiotherapist on site as well as indoor play area during winter season as our children with challenges needs the stimulation daily and our children in mainstream as the first 1000 days in their development is crucial.
