What does your company do?
We are a wellbeing support platform and community that:
- supports women's life transitions
- brings visibility to the issues women in midlife face e.g. menopause
- provides coaching, retreats and mentoring services to women
- provides thought leadership on women's lives and leadership
- offers wellbeing resources
- offers women entrepreneurs a platform with back office support to sell their goods and services online
- has 4 other established online brands which has an amazing footprint across South Africa - www.tilevera.co.za , www.heycasey.co.za , www.sillygeorge.co.za , www.soxandjox.co.za
What is your biggest success?
Being able to grow the business into areas that don't need me to do the day to day work; leveraging my reputation and client base to start a business focused on individual women (not organizations) as clients; having a team that we are able to pay monthly and which gives me the space to drive business growth; and buying 4 established brands with a big customer base that is instrumental in growing the business.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Time as I am stretched in trying to make two businesses runs effectively- this is short term as the new team find their feet. Finance - we need bigger office space but can't afford it right now and we would benefit from a bigger marketing budget. Getting very good digital marketing support-we need to find a person/team that can support all our brands to grow through marketing visibility and reaching new audiences like businesses so we can grow our bulk order catalogue
