MomCareCo is a natural skincare manufacturer and provider. We pride ourselves in harnessing the power of Africa’s natural ingredients to handcraft skincare products that target eczema, acne, hyperpigmentation, dark marks, dry skin to provide skincare solutions for Africans by Africans.
What is your biggest success?
With help from SEDA, we are currently in the process of having our products tested and compliant with SANBS (South African Bureau of Standards) requirements. And just being able to go from struggling to find gentle and effective skincare solutions to actually formulating products that give society the confidence to wear their natural skin is a great success for me.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Marketing and access to markets. In order to compete in the skincare industry we need assistance with strategic positioning and effective marketing to reach a larger audience. From there, the quality of our products will speak for itself.
