What does your company do?
Lash & dash is a team of skilled and passionate artists who provide luxury lash, brow & various beauty treatments. We also have a training academy which empowers and teaches aspiring beauty therapists.
What is your biggest success?
My biggest success has been watching the business grow from my apartment where I first started to the business it is now! Creating employment for many women has been a highlight and this is what keeps us going!
What has been your biggest hurdle?
With every business comes its challenges, and in our industry in particular there is high staff turnover rate. Having to build up talent & retain them was a hurdle earlier on as I wasn’t fully equipped as a business owner to manage it. With time & experience, I have introduced an HR partner who manages the Human & wellness part of the business. I value my team members & this has been a great investment!
