What does your company do?
TLAP Safety Solutions is a third-party Safety and Client Agent Consultant. We consist of Registered Safety professionals offering Occupational Health and Safety services within Construction, Petroleum, Engineering, Civils, Building and Residential Sectors. Our main services are offering third-party safety officers to clients, Safety Agent services, Application of Construction work permits to Department of Employment and Labour, overseeing Projects and conducting audits on sites.
What is your biggest success?
We have managed obtain 2–3-year contracts with the biggest Petroleum companies in South Africa, Total Energies, Engen Petroleum where we act as third-party Safety consultant company and Safety Agent consultancy.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
As a business that started with no capital in 2020, we had before struggled financially to cover costs of travels, flights, accommodations, however we resolved that by including "supply of safety clothing department" to assist with cash flow. We have then never experienced challenges again.
