What does your company do?
Wire Maven is a boutique enterprise specialising in intricately woven lighting solutions. Our mission is to design exquisite products that facilitate business growth and create sustainable income opportunities for our artisans, thereby supporting their families.
Committed to local support, we exclusively source materials from local suppliers and manufacture all products in-house. Our frames are crafted from locally sourced steel, and we utilise 100% cotton yarn for the weaving process, with each yarn hand-dyed in an array of vibrant colours.
What is your biggest success?
We are honoured to have received the Best Newcomer award at the SARCDA trade show and to have been featured in the prestigious magazine, House and Leisure.
Nonetheless, our greatest achievement lies in the expansion of our team to four members within just one year, providing them with the means to support their families.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Our primary challenge has been penetrating the appropriate market segments. While trade shows offer valuable exposure, their high costs have limited our participation. We believe our company could have achieved even greater growth with the necessary resources to support our presence on such platforms.
