What is your biggest success?
We started Women in Music workshops, masterclasses and audience development platforms when no one else was doing it and now there are many similar platforms that have been birthed by female professionals who were on our panels.
Though Basadi In Business is fairly new, the excitement from the female entrepreneurs who have been trading without formalizing their businesses, now having registered businesses with business accounts is the most rewarding feeling. Every box we tick is an achievement for them and therefore an even bigger achievement for me.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Finances.
Not many organizations were keen to fund Women In Music ZA when we started and to now see similar concepts funded is very reassuring.
Basadi in Business is experiencing the same hurdle as potential funders want to see you bring the concept to life before they become part of it. What has helped both concepts are the contacts that I have, who see and understand the vision, therefore availing themselves for these platforms.
