What does your company do?
GelaToh manufactures 12 alcoholic and 4 non - alcoholic ice cream. We are a registered company based in City deep JHB.
GelaToh has been running for 3 years, supplying 60 TOPS at Spar in around Gauteng, North west, Limpopo, and KZN. We are listed with SPAR DC in Gauteng and KZN. We have 12 alcoholic flavours and 4 non-alcoholic flavours. We are currently the only company in AFRICA that is using beverage in ice cream and this has taken the country and social media by storm.
What is your biggest success?
Supplying one of the largest retail in the country.
Winning Bambelela foundation award.
Getting listed at CHECKERS and Pick N Pay, even though we have not started supplying them.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Short of raw material in peak season.
Some rejection from other stores.
Lack of funding/ capital
