What does your company do?

We are an ICT Training and Consulting business opportunities we are dedicated to addressing the critical challenge of bridging the skills gap, thereby enhancing employment opportunities across various sectors. We offer a comprehensive range of training programs that cater to different audience segments including learners in schools, recent graduates, and corporate clients interested in upskilling their workforce. Our training services are designed to meet the highest standards, with accreditations from the South African Qualification Authority and international endorsements. For non-accredited courses, we ensure a robust curriculum tailored to current industry requirements and future trends. Additionally, we utilize a blended method of delivery that includes both traditional classroom settings and an online platform through our internally developed Learning Management System, which is accredited by the SETA. This flexible approach allows us to effectively meet diverse learning needs and preferences.

What is your biggest success?

As an accredited Skills Development Provider with the Media Information Communication Technology Sector Education Training Authority (MICTSETA), Ikusasa has trained over 4,500 youths across the nation, achieving an 85% success rate in job placements post-training.  Recognition by various organizations, culminating in an international award in the ICT sector. We developed an in-house learning management system that was instrumental in navigating the challenges posed by the pandemic

What has been your biggest hurdle?

Our biggest hurdle has been gaining access to the corporate market, particularly within the private sector. This challenge is compounded by the difficulty of building a sales team. Experienced sales resources are expensive.
