What does your company do?
We do vermiculture and vermicomposting (We breed and cultivate earthworms and using them to convert organic waste into organic fertilizers.)
What is your biggest success?
My biggest success is winning the seda pitch for funding competion (being in the top 10 of the province),also being given an opportunity to exhibit on one of the biggest echibition which was the THE BIOTRADE AND ORGANIC EXPO AFRICA. My biggest success was also when my company got to be profiled by the SABC NEWS.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
Convincing people to grow organic has been my hurdle since thousands of farmers are so consumed in these chemical fertilizers. And also having to compete with the ones that are already in the market. Getting my product in the market has been quite difficult.
