What does your company do?
At Brown Butter Bakery we offer unique and customised cakes and cupcakes. We also offer sweet treats such as brownies, chunky cookies and muffins. We believe that every celebration deserves something sweet and we are here to offer that in the most delicious way we can.
What is your biggest success?
My biggest success was reaching the top 10 of the Standard Bank Basali development programme. This made me realise that my business is headed in the right direction and that it has the potential to be as successful as I believe it will be. The fact that a big company was able to see Brown Butter Bakery as a business with sustainability and longevity has been my biggest succes.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
My biggest hurdle is the fact that the business is growing to a point where it needs its own space however not having the finances at the moment to offer end the rent of a commercial space. We know we will get there and for now we are being creative with the space that we have.
