What does your company do?
We specialise in upcycling rubber tubes from cars, trucks, and tractors into premium, eco-friendly, and ethically sourced bags. Our products are designed to be durable, waterproof, and offer a sustainable alternative to leather goods.
What is your biggest success?
Selling my bags at selected Woolworths stores. Being part of the Earthshot Prize Youth Programme, meeting His Royal Highness Prince William and making a bag for him. Showcasing in Paris with the IFAS and in London with Absa. Buying our own business land and building in factory in our village.
What has been your biggest hurdle?
The biggest hurdle has been setting our foot on the ground in terms of sales, maintaining them while teaching people about sustainable fashion. Capital to grow our product line which will increase our sales and revenue.
